A Message From the Board of Trustees of the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey

Dear Patrons and Supporters,

It is with a mix of gratitude and sadness that we announce Dan Spalding's departure as Music Director of CPNJ. We are grateful for his dedication and service to the orchestra over the past decade, and we credit him for his creative and diligent work as one of our founders. His vision has been instrumental in building CPNJ into the robust organization that we all enjoy today. His creative programming, community outreach, and connections have been invaluable to our success. We will miss having Dan lead the orchestra and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.

We want to assure you that the orchestra is in good hands, and our five-concert season for 2024-2025 will proceed as scheduled. The podium of the orchestra will be taken over by our Assistant Conductor Sebastian Grand, who impressed audiences last season with his work on A Soldier's Tale and our Family Concert in May, and several distinguished guest conductors we are certain you will enjoy!

We look forward to a successful eleventh season and are confident that together, we will continue to have an enormous, positive impact in Trenton and the region, creating exceptional musical experiences for our audiences as well as educational experiences for our youth.

Sincerely,

CPNJ Board of Trustees
